The test framework is currently used in many iOS apps, including iBooks, iOS Simulator, iOS Developer Edition, iBooks Mobile, and iBooks Pro.

It is open source, meaning that anyone can create a version that suits their needs.
For example, a simple ielBS test could be written using the ielabs-test package and published as iELBS Test Library for iOS.
To test a new iOS app, you just type the name of the app and then press the Test button, or you can enter a short description and then select the test method you want to run.
To run an existing test, select it in the list and hit the Run button.
iELs is a free download for everyone, and includes a full suite of tests, including the basic test suite and an integration test suite.

To get started, you can use ielbes test library to write a basic ielB test that tests the following: Accessibility: Does the device support the accessibility capabilities required to navigate to and navigate to the test’s webpage?
Does the iOS device support touch and keyboard gestures?
Does it support gestures for interacting with the iOS display?
Does an iOS app have a system-wide accessibility policy?
Does a user need to enter a password to access the test?
Does your iOS app support a test for displaying an error message in the notification area?
Does iOS support gesture control?
Does user interaction with the test device occur in the background?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes, the test passes.
If it is not, you need to add an Accessibility checkbox in the test.
If you don’t have an Accessible checkbox, you must add it.
For iOS, you set the Accessibility setting to Accessibility.
You may use one of several accessibility options, depending on the app: iPhone: Accessible for all.
